Collaborating with the Natural Muscle Company from the very beginning promised to be exciting. We knew that together we would create a dynamic film that captures the spirit of the company. We aimed to produce a commercial that would engage the viewer from the first moments, convey a substantial dose of energy, and showcase the beauty of athletic physique. We love such concepts!
Our task was to create a 30-second advertisement for two Natural Muscle Company products - Muscle Rush and Muscle Rehab. The spot was intended for social media channels such as Instagram/Facebook and YouTube. We captured the footage in one day at the newly opened Underground Gym in Newhaven. The location featured a beautiful boxing ring beneath a glass ceiling, allowing us to utilize fantastic natural light pouring in. This setup provided a highly dynamic lighting effect on the main protagonist, athlete Lewis Young. Lewis understood our expectations perfectly, making working with him a pure pleasure. He was in excellent shape and demonstrated discipline, naturalness, and openness on set.
To keep up with Lewis and achieve a more dynamic effect, we decided to shoot handheld. We utilized natural light from outside, additional lamps, gym lighting, and diffusers. We opted for a very fast, almost athletic, editing style to the selected music. The Natural Muscle Company products, Muscle Rush and Muscle Rehab, appear in the film chronologically and in line with their purpose - at the beginning of the training and right after its completion.
After editing the footage, we performed color correction. Such a short and concise format requires meticulous attention to detail. This way, the film captivates from the first moment, remains memorable, and makes viewers want to come back for more.
The Natural Muscle Company and athlete Lewis Young were extremely pleased with the final result. The ad garnered a significant number of views across all channels, contributing to the promotion of the Natural Muscle Company brand, Lewis Young as an athlete, and the sale of their products. Such projects are a dream come true for us. We deeply appreciate the trust placed in us—especially when we have creative freedom in executing ideas.
