A collaboration with Miler Menswear brand had been our dream for a long time. There are few companies that operate in so many fields and maintain such a cohesive image. that explores areas such as men's fashion, craft alcohol, leather goods, publishing activities and perfumes. A modern man looking for high-quality products will undoubtedly find much to his liking here. All areas of Miler's activities are characterised by very high quality, produced in small manufactories, personalised and perfected down to the smallest detail. The brand also thoroughly develops the substantive side of its projects and its founder -the charismatic Tomasz Miler is widely known both on the internet and beyond.
Our task was to create an advertisement for the Miler Méditerranéen fragrance. From the beginning, we knew we didn't want to produce a typical commercial showcasing the beauty of the male body on a paradise beach. We wanted to approach the subject in a less conventional way. We decided that the maritime motif would not be the main theme of the video but its goal. We were inspired by the slogan of the Miler Menswear brand, under which the Miler Méditerranéen fragrance was produced: "Find a way or make one." The Miler man is specific, decisive, and solid. And unconventional. We decided that the excellent suits of the Miler Menswear brand must appear in the advertisement in a slightly less obvious way. Marcin Poczta prepared excellent fashion sets for us, among which we chose a grey summer suit, a shirt with bold blue stripes, and brown suede loafers. Thus, the story was born about a man who is taken out of his daily rush to unexpectedly spend a moment of relaxation in the middle of the desert. And to find a soothing oasis in the form of water. The most important thing for us was to create the story of the protagonist - a man of the Miler Menswear brand, who always knows what he wants but also allows himself life’s improvisation. Because he can! Find a way or make one.
The picturesque dunes of Fuerteventura served as our scenery. It was the perfect place for our idea because here we could reverse the proportions between what is obvious - water, and what is less obvious - the desert. Marcin Dobski, the main model and face of the Miler Menswear brand, played the main (and only) role. Marcin perfectly understood what we expected from him. He flawlessly conveyed the emotions we wanted to capture on film. At the beginning, our protagonist is somewhat formal and serious, but soon he lets himself be carried away by a spontaneous adventure. He experiences unhurried moments surrounded by vast space, sun, and nature. This moment does not make him lazy- he is ready to explore. The journey becomes his goal. The unexpected discovery of an oasis is a reward where the sea breeze evokes the refreshing notes of Miler Méditerranéen. Find a way or make one.
