Collaborating with massive corporations is a significant challenge. But we love challenges. Put simply, our approach is consistent: we treat every client with the same level of dedication. While the amount of work may vary between a small company and a large corporation - our attitude remains the same. We were thrilled to start our partnership with Gestamp Polska.
Gestamp is a Spanish corporation specialising in manufacturing body parts for most leading car brands. The company operates nearly 115 factories across all continents. Gestamp Polska has been present on the Polish market for 20 years (Gestamp in Września), and it also boasts the most advanced production line worldwide (Gestamp Chocicza Mała). We were asked to produce a videos for the 20th anniversary of Gestamp Polska, as well as three promotional videos for the facilities in Września, Chocicza Mała, and Wrocław.
The concept of the documentary-style video was to tell the story of Gestamp Polska over the past 20 years. It covered the period from its inception, through various stages of expansion, recruitment, adoption of new technologies, partnerships with schools and international branches, key successes, and plans for the future. We knew that no one could tell this story better than the employees of Gestamp Polska. We identified key participants who hold different roles and joined Gestamp at various stages of its development. We interviewed them in a way that ensured their responses aligned with our narrative. The timeline was ready.
To fully showcase the complex operations of robots and machinery, we needed to go beyond traditional camera setups. During filming at the Września, Chocicza Mała and Wrocław factories, we had the support of Marcin Kantor. We had worked with Marcin before and knew there was no better drone pilot in the galaxy. Thanks to Marcin, we captured modern and engaging footage using FPV drones. He even managed a daring stunt by flying through the production line… while it was in operation. Hats off to him!
The footage was used to create a documentary video for the 20th anniversary of Gestamp Polska (Września and Chocicza Mała). We also produced three promotional videos for Gestamp Września, Gestamp Chocicza Mała, and a promotional video for Gestamp Wrocław, which presents the entire production process in chronological order. The videos premiered at the company’s 20th-anniversary celebration, attended by all corporate employees. Our documentary video was translated into three languages.
The video production for Gestamp Polska was a challenge, but we embraced it wholeheartedly. Our main driving force was a deep fascination with being in extraordinary places that few have access to. We gained a comprehensive understanding of the intricate processes involved in automotive body production and the inner workings of an international corporation. The directors and employees who guided us through the factories were open, relaxed, passionate, and professional—just like us. We are confident that this connection contributed to the final quality of the videos.
